Outreach

Reaching out into the community and making a difference there and in the world, is a vital marker of any church community. At Cawthra Park we encourage financial support of the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada including the World Development Relief Fund. As a result of the generosity of its contributers, the United Church of Canada is able to partner with churches and agencies all over the world to help assist with disaster and emergency relief.

In addition, Cawthra Park supports a wide variety of community agencies - Foodpath, Our Place Peel, Interim Place, Alzheimer's Society Peel, Trillium Health Centre, King Gardens, Scott Mission, Canadian Legion Aluminum Pop Tabs for Wheelchairs program and many others.

Cawthra Park is one of 5 United Churches in East Mississauga. Under the banner of UCEM (United Churches of East Mississauga) we gather together for times of worship, play and outreach into the community. The ministry personnel meet monthly and lay leaders also gather to develop further ways that we can work and minister together.

We also share our facilities with an Indonesian Full Gospel Fellowship congregation. Their services are on Sundays at 5:00 pm.

Various projects throughout the year are organized to support our outreach into the wider community!
